Key Responsibilities:

  • Active Customer Relationship Management
  • Establishing and maintaining accurate project contractual structures in commercial tools
  • Setting up cross-company controlling and reporting systems
  • Determining cross-company exchange of balance-sheet information

Cross-Company Coordination

  • Ensuring the correctness, consistency, and visibility of overall project financial status
  • Coordinating legal, fiscal, and insurance subjects between Siemens companies
  • Consolidating and analyzing project figures across company boundaries and accounting units
  • Leading internal and external claims between stakeholders

Reporting and Documentation

  • Responsible for summarized global reporting to management level
  • Documenting project information in line with internal and external requirements

Project-Internal Coordination

  • Leading commercial and legal project subjects
  • Collaborating with Project Managers on project strategic orientation and internal/external communication
  • Adhering to fiscal, commercial-law, and company-internal commercial rules
  • Coordinating commercial project activities, including bank guarantees, insurances, and legal/fiscal/insurance subjects
  • Order entry calculation, concurrent costing, and final costing
  • Asset and cash flow management
  • Accurate cost allocation and monitoring
  • Preparing invoices and following up on claims
  • Project-internal controlling (deadlines, costs, quality)
  • Regular project reporting/project status meetings/milestone reviews
  • Involving in final project reports and summarizing lessons learned with feedback to the organization
  • Handling fiscal, currency-related aspects, and insurance subjects, involving the responsible department and considering internal business models
  • Steering the project's supply chain, including procurement, delivery, and ECC

Contract Management

  • Wordings of commercial and legal contractual conditions with customers, consortium members, and subcontractors
  • Involving in negotiations, interpretation, and implementation of contracts in projects
  • Analysis and assessment of sophisticated, where applicable international contract constellations
  • Active contract management with the Project Manager for risks and opportunities

Claim and Change Order Management

  • Asserting own claims and preventing unjustified claims
  • Agreeing on contractual amendments regarding the scope of supplies and services, prices, deadlines, or other contractually stipulated conditions

Chance and Risk Management

  • Identifying and financially assessing opportunities and risks, defining and implementing suitable measures to reduce risks or realize opportunities, and creating contingencies for remaining risks

Desired Skills:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience with a Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree in Finance
  • Good Communication Skills
