Solar Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Systems Engineer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient and cost-effective solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

  • Design solar PV systems using software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.
  • Analyze site survey data (roof dimensions, shading, azimuth, tilt, etc.) and develop optimal system layouts.
  • Prepare system designs including line diagrams (SLDs), layouts, and bill of materials (BOM).
  • Estimate energy production, system losses, and performance ratios.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, grid standards, and safety norms.
  • Collaborate with engineers, installers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Update designs based on feedback, site changes, or new client requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest solar technologies, design practices, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Solar System Design

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills and knowledge of solar PV systems, including design principles, installation procedures, and maintenance requirements.

Collaboration and Communication

Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role, as the engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations.
