We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to lead our team in building cutting-edge data pipelines using AWS services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, solution design, and data engineering practices, with expertise in Python, Spark, and AWS data services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Software Architecture and Solution Design: Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient software architectures, including microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Data Engineering Practices: Expertise in ETL data processing, data warehousing, and data lake management using tools like EMR, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Athena.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, with a deep focus on data engineering practices and Spark.
  • AWS Services: Deep technical knowledge of AWS data services, including S3, Glacier, Redshift, and QuickSight.
  • Lakehouse Solutions: Experience in delivering Lakehouse solutions/architectures.
  • Certifications: A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Data Analytics) is advantageous.
