Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of messaging systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with messaging systems like Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc., as well as a strong understanding of Kafka concepts and managed Kafka services.

In addition, the candidate should have proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation, AWS messaging platforms (Amazon MSK, Amazon MQ, Amazon SQS, etc.), and one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, etc.).

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of software engineering concepts and principles is essential for this role.

  • Possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 8+ years of applied experience.
  • Expertise in messaging systems such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka concepts, managed Kafka, topic migration, multi-cloud cluster connectivity, replication, and platform-level intricacies.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Proficiency in AWS messaging platforms like Amazon MSK, Amazon MQ, Amazon SQS, etc.
  • Programming proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go, etc.
  • Microservice architecture expertise.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of microservice architecture and implementation.
