Expert Messaging Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled messaging professional to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust messaging systems, providing technical leadership, and managing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure messaging architecture for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop event-driven strategies leveraging messaging features.
  • Configure messaging components such as brokers, queues, topics, and client connections for scalability.
  • Ensure robust security, access control, and monitoring of messaging environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate messaging with microservices, APIs, and external platforms.
  • Troubleshoot complex messaging issues including latency, throughput, and durability concerns.
  • Automate setup and monitoring processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Advise on best practices for message modeling, governance, and topic taxonomy.
  • Support enablement activities such as training and knowledge transfer for internal engineering and operations teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering with at least 1-2 years of experience in messaging technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting using Korn Shell Scripts, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS is preferred) and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
