Public Relations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our communications team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Ensure that Statements of Work (SOWs) are met and updated weekly, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop effective communication strategies.
  • Content Creation: Create high-quality content, including press releases, content briefing templates, media briefing documents, and authored articles, to support client objectives.
  • Media Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with media representatives, including correspondents and assistant editors, to secure media coverage for clients.
  • Project Coordination: End-to-end coordination of projects, including closing opportunities, sharing media opportunity/query emails, and uploading documents on drive.
  • Reporting: Provide timely submission of WIP reports, month reports, and quarter plans, as well as sharing coverage updates and salient points post WIP calls.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in public relations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and managing complex relationships.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone and style requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
