Manufacturing Execution System Support Specialist

This role bridges the gap between IT and manufacturing, ensuring the effective operation of software systems that monitor and control production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot issues with MES software and hardware to maintain uninterrupted production operations.
  • Monitor system performance, implement updates, and optimize MES for efficiency and quality.
  • Implement and configure new MES systems, integrating them with other enterprise systems like ERP.
  • Collect and analyze real-time data from the shop floor to identify bottlenecks and track production.
  • Provide technical assistance to production staff and develop training materials to help them use the MES effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with MES software and understanding of databases.
  • Familiarity with system integration and a solid understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and use data to drive improvements in production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
