Job Overview

The Senior Manager IP will work on a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including product clearance, patent filing and prosecution, patent litigation, licensing and due diligence.

  • Develop and manage the growing portfolio of intellectual property.
  • Enforce processes to ensure optimal and timely protection of intellectual property and partner interests.
  • Work closely with the Global Head, Research and Development, and Portfolio teams to identify products for introduction into the development grid, devise and manage product development strategies, and provide guidance on patentability.
  • Draft patents, freedom-to-operate reports, infringement and validity analysis, risk assessment and mitigation strategies, and file and prosecute inventive solutions to build significant wealth of intellectual property.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or post-graduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, with at least 13 years of experience in a global pharmaceutical company. They will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and a team-player capable of working in a deadline-dictated environment.
