Job Description

A lead geotechnical professional will be responsible for managing geotechnical activities and implementing solutions to optimize mine operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage geotechnical studies, prepare feasibility reports, and conduct stability analysis.
  • Develop and implement geotechnical solutions for safe and efficient mine operations.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor geotechnical conditions and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • A postgraduate degree in Geological Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in open cast mining.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality geotechnical studies and reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
