Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to join our team at Loom Solar Pvt. Ltd. in Faridabad, India.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to increase sales revenue by building strong relationships with distributors and dealers. This includes conducting regular meetings, providing training, and identifying new business opportunities. Additionally, the Sales Development Manager will be responsible for lead generation, negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contact and meet with retail shop owners/dealers/distributors to introduce them to Loom Solar’s products and offerings.
  2. Cold calling to prospective customers/dealers to identify sales opportunities.
  3. Lead generation for dealer networks to boost sales.
  4. Negotiate with dealers to promote our products as their first choice against competitors.
  5. Prepare quotations and share them with dealers for order requirements.
  6. Keep records and update all visits in our company's sales application.
  7. Pick up calls and respond promptly to each dealer.
  8. Evaluate distributor and dealer stock movements and secondary/tertiary sales.
  9. Organize and conduct distributor/dealer meets and training programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A graduate or MBA degree from a recognized university.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the solar power backup industry.
  • Fluency in both English and Hindi.
  • An attitude to get things done and willingness to work for at least 2 years.
  • Rigorous follow-up and negotiation skills to build relationships with dealers/distributors.
