Job Title: Demand Planning Strategist

Role Responsibilities:
  • Drive the end-to-end implementation of demand management initiatives for top-tier organizations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to synchronize demand forecasts with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review and adjust demand planning forecasts.
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
  • Utilize industry-leading tools, including SAP IBP, to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy throughout the demand planning process.
  • Implement and maintain industry best practices in demand planning.
  • Design and execute comprehensive demand planning strategies.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on demand planning methodologies and SAP IBP usage.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement in forecasting and demand management.
  • Manage stakeholder communications regarding assumptions, updates, and changes to demand plans.
  • Facilitate scenario planning to evaluate potential impacts of business changes.
  • Support development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for demand planning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in demand planning or a closely related function.
  • Strong expertise in SAP IBP and demand forecasting processes.
  • Proven leadership in demand planning initiatives and SAP IBP implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts, best practices, and change management.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments is an advantage.
