Senior Data Engineering Expert

Senior data engineers play a pivotal role in designing, building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies such as dbt and airflow.
This position requires the ability to develop and optimize sql queries and data models within snowflake, while also implementing ETL/ELT workflows with considerations for data quality, performance and reliability.
Data processing, automation and integration tasks are carried out utilizing python programming, while data ingestion, transformation and api handling involve complex json data structures.
AWS services are leveraged to provide cloud-based data solutions, including s3, lambda, glue and redshift.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations such as GLBA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA through proper data encryption, access controls and data retention policies.
Key Skills
- Proficient in dbt and airflow for data pipeline management
- Ability to design and optimize sql queries and data models
- Experience with ETL/ELT workflows and data quality assurance
- Python programming skills for data processing and automation
- Familiarity with json data structures and AWS services
