Role Purpose :

We seek a Senior Finance Manager – Controllership to join our Financial Operations team. This is an experienced People Manager role.

In this position, you will oversee key finance functions including financial reporting, audits, compliance, and accounting operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders including Financial Planning, Procurement, HR and Internal Audit teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial operations.

The responsibilities we entrust you with :

  • Managing financial records for legal entities, responsible for end-to-end accounting and timely books closure, audits, tax compliances, and coordination with external auditors.
  • Managing day-to-day financial operation matters and coordinating with Accounting teams for accounting closures.
  • Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting principles and regulatory requirements and ensuring underlying accounting records are accurate, complete and in accordance with GAAP. Maintaining internal control safeguards.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports/analysis. Developing and monitoring policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues.
  • Driving operational efficiency by monitoring and improving costing activities and identifying saving initiatives and leveraging economies of scale.
  • Managing cash flow and forecasting by developing a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
  • Overseeing and approving financial transactions and reconciliations, ensuring robust controls are in operation and workloads are managed effectively.
  • Leading financial compliance, ensuring finance activities are compliant with internal/external financial policies and regulations.

Key Requirements :

  • 7+ years of experience in finance and controllership roles, preferably in finance, accounting or related fields.
  • Good working knowledge in IndAS/IFRS accounting standards.
  • Experience of working on Oracle ERP is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong command over data integrity, reconciliations, and financial controls.
