PMS Analyst Job Overview

This role is responsible for analyzing PMS data to create relevant documentation and identifying gaps between user needs and available features.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze PMS data and other modules to create reports and outcomes.
  • Document client requirements and identify areas of improvement.
  • Test functional aspects of modules developed by the team and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to training users on PMS and related modules.
  • Create software-related documents as required.
Ship Visit and Other Responsibilities:
  • Arrange vessel visits for implementation, issue fixing, and training purposes.
  • Assist vessels in data collection and update PMS data onboard.
  • Train shipboard personnel on using the system.
  • Provide support to vessels and remote offices.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 3rd/4th engineer or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Shore experience in shipping management as a coordinator/controller.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise computing needs in ship management companies.
  • Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent typing and analyzing skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous with an eye for detail.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
