Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Innovations Manager to lead the innovation process for beauty devices and accessories. The ideal candidate will develop innovative, safe, and cost-efficient products that meet our design-led and system-integrated roadmap.

The successful candidate will own the end-to-end innovation process, from defining problem statements and user requirements to evaluating motor, heat, airflow modules, power electronics, and safety features. They will also identify and qualify OEM/ODM/component suppliers, negotiate MOQs, and build should-cost models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define problem statements, user requirements, and success metrics; align with brand, supply chain, finance, and create product roadmaps and PRDs.
  • Drive concept development to EVT/DVT/PVT and manage tooling, tolerances, materials, and reliability testing.
  • Evaluate motor, heat, airflow modules, power electronics, and safety features.
  • Identify and qualify OEM/ODM/component suppliers, run RFQs, negotiate MOQs, and build should-cost models.
  • Plan test protocols and documentation for BIS/CRS, IEC 60335 series, RoHS/REACH, EPR (e-waste), WPC (RF), and UN38.3/IEC 62133 (if batteries).
  • Partner with industrial designers to ensure ergonomics, acoustic comfort, thermals, and serviceability, and packaging fit/spec.
  • Pilot builds, line setup, SOPs, spares/after-sales, user manuals, and risk registers for go-to-market readiness.
  • Track field performance, NPS/reviews, failure modes, and drive rapid revs and cost/quality improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We require a candidate with 6-10 years of experience in hardware NPD for small appliances/consumer electronics/beauty devices. They should have proven DFM/DFX, basic EE/ME literacy, tooling, and reliability testing experience. A strong vendor management skillset is essential, including hands-on experience with RFQs, BOMs, PPAP/FAT.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with Indian and global compliance pathways for consumer devices. Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo), basic FEA/CFD interpretation, Jira/PLM, and Excel for should-costs is necessary. Execution bias, with ability to run parallel tracks and hit dates, is a must.
