Product Development Lead

About the Role:

Our company aims to empower farmers by connecting them directly with consumers through our innovative agritech platform.

  • The frontend apps for farm management, delivery drivers, and end customers are built using modern technologies like React.js and React Native.
  • These apps enable seamless navigation and interaction between farmers, consumers, and delivery drivers.

Version 2.0 of our platform is underway, bringing enhancements in user experience and performance.

We're seeking a skilled Product Development Lead who can oversee the development and maintenance of impactful products that shape the user experience in our mission-driven company.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, architecture, and maintenance of all frontend apps (admin, driver, customer).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly deliver new features.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance across projects.
  • Mentor and review code for junior engineers to uphold development excellence.
  • Advocate for modern frontend best practices, emphasizing automated testing, accessibility, and usability.
  • Drive innovation in UI/UX—quickly prototype and implement the latest technologies for frictionless user journeys.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in React.js and React Native app development.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux, and UI frameworks (such as Material UI).
  • Strong background in unit/automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD).
  • Track record of optimizing performance and ensuring application security.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex app state.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and effective cross-functional collaboration.
