Trading Platform Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled quality assurance professional to lead our team's QA activities for trading platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance for financial or trading applications, with expertise in complex trading systems and a deep understanding of trading operations.

  • Lead and execute quality assurance activities on the trading platform, focusing on ensuring functionality, performance, and stability across various environments
  • Own and manage the QA lifecycle for the trading platform, including planning, test case development, execution, and defect management
  • Work closely with trading and IT teams to understand system requirements, user needs, and business processes to identify critical areas for testing
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for Endur and related tools, including integration, regression, functional, and performance testing

As a Trading Platform Quality Assurance Specialist, you will work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and QA teams to drive and implement testing strategies, identify risks, and provide valuable insights into platform improvements, all while ensuring adherence to best practices in IT and QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality, stability, and performance of trading systems, with a primary emphasis on complex trading workflows and financial products
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of trading workflows, financial products, and market data in relation to trading platforms
  • Provide expert-level guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve the overall QA processes

Skill and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within trading or financial platforms, with a focus on testing complex trading systems
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with complex trading platforms and trading workflows
  • Experience in functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing within a complex trading environment
