About the Role:
  • Create Effective Solutions: Develop and generate optimized CAM programs using NX software, defining cutting tools and strategies for 3D models to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Evaluate Outputs: Run tool path simulations, generate NC code, and perform virtual simulations to guarantee accuracy and quality.
  • Process Inputs: Validate 3D models against 2D drawings and assemble part geometry in fixtures for seamless production execution.
  • Sustain Production: Collaborate with process engineers to implement CAM programs on CNC machines, optimizing manufacturing processes and improving overall efficiency.
  • Maintain Quality: Analyze QC reports, implement corrective actions, and iterate as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Document Procedures: Create setup sheets and work instructions for CNC operators to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Key Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in NX CAM programming is necessary.
  • Skills: Knowledge of GD&T, CNC machines, NX CAD, cutting tools, and FANUC Controller is mandatory.
