Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical CAD Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing precision parts and components using CNC-machining and casting techniques.

You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop innovative products that push the boundaries of precision and efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical engineering and knowledge of GD&T principles will be instrumental in ensuring our designs are manufacturing-ready and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop precision parts and components using CNC-machining and casting techniques
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs
  • Perform simulations and tests to validate designs
  • Provide technical input on manufacturability and support design reviews
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production
  • Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software i.e. NX, CATIA
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles
  • ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory
