Job Title: Technical Expert

A key role in our organization, the Technical Expert plays a vital part in supporting technical teams in solving complex service tasks. This includes assisting with main bearing-related tasks and maintaining failed component information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with globally responsible teams of technical experts within Service Engineering.
  • Act as a focal point for contact between local business units and central business units.
  • Assign and manage tasks along the technical support process.
  • Collect and analyze performance data on mechanical components of wind turbines.
  • Identify and report potential serial issues.
  • Evaluate risk potential, budget, and schedule necessary activities related to major non-conformities.
  • Support local business units in developing sustainable solutions for mechanical problems using distinctive technical expertise.
  • Create repair and inspection instructions for mechanical component assemblies.
  • Define, implement, and obtain service processes for mechanical assemblies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Mechanical drive trains and roller bearing design and development.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of technical backgrounds and knowledge in Teamcenter PLM, Windchill PLM, SAP, and troubleshooting.
