Job Title

We are seeking an experienced retail leader to oversee store operations and drive sales growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-performing teams, driving sales performance, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations & Brand Standards:
    • Oversee all aspects of daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and POS systems.
    • Maintain a visually appealing store environment through effective visual merchandising, cleanliness, and ambience.
    • Implement seasonal campaigns, festive promotions, and new collection launches as directed by management.
  • Sales & Customer Experience:
    • Drive sales revenue to achieve and exceed monthly targets.
    • Provide personalized styling guidance to customers for sarees, blouses, and accessories.
    • Handle escalated customer queries and ensure smooth exchange/return processes.
    • Cultivate long-term relationships with loyal customers and promote membership programs.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff, stylists, and support personnel.
    • Monitor team performance, set targets, and conduct regular team meetings.
    • Foster a motivated team that delivers exceptional customer experiences.
  • Inventory & Stock Control:
    • Oversee stock movement, replenishment, tagging, and barcoding.
    • Maintain accurate records of saree collections and minimize stock loss/shrinkage.
    • Provide timely feedback on bestsellers, customer preferences, and market trends to the merchandising team.
  • Marketing & Engagement:
    • Coordinate in-store events such as festive saree showcases, draping workshops, and wedding collection previews.
    • Promote store offers and exclusive collections through local channels and social media collaborations.
    • Develop and execute engaging marketing strategies to attract new customers.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
    • Prepare daily/weekly sales and footfall reports.
    • Ensure compliance with billing, GST, and company policies.
    • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Retail, Fashion Management, or Business preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in apparel/ethnic retail management.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and leading retail teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in billing software, POS systems, and MS Office.
