Software Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing integrations with various software systems.

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to develop and optimize our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, engaging with partners to identify and implement new features and updates, and continuously improving our backend infrastructure.

To succeed in this position, you should have strong technical skills, including proficiency in TypeScript, experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks, and a strong understanding of automated testing and API development.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms.
  • Developing and optimizing our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Continuously improving our backend infrastructure, automating tasks, and setting best practices for integrations.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in backend web development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and its various paradigms.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing at every level (unit, integration and end-to-end).
  • Strong understanding of API development, including RESTful APIs and SOAP XML.
  • Experience working with message queues and understanding of pub-sub architectures in distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with databases and ORM frameworks for efficient data management.
  • Proficiency with Git and development tools such as Visual Studio Code (or any preferred IDE).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to test and validate code before deployment.
  • Experience with integrating third-party systems and optimizing data flow between platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in frontend development using React or other similar frameworks.
  • Experience working in the hospitality tech industry or with PMS integrations.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and infrastructure automation.
