Job Description:

The Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional support and maintenance of custom web applications on Microsoft technologies.

This role involves ensuring alignment with business needs, compliance with industry best practices, and delivering outstanding application experiences.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and understand their requirements.
  • Focus on providing excellent customer support and resolving issues promptly.
  • Analyze complex technical issues and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Contribute to agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management.
  • Identify and escalate any application issues or risks to the team, suggesting resolutions.
  • Improve development processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand emerging demands and develop strategies.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of Industry practices through investigation and institutionalization of new tools/methods/standards.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and documenting support processes and solutions.
  • Adaptability in learning new technologies and evolving applications and systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly skilled candidate who possesses:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and diagnosing application issues using tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar APM solutions.
  • Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Knowledge of tools/platforms such as ASP.NET, C#, SQL, REST API, Azure-OAuth, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines.
  • Experience with GIT.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automating support tasks and workflows.
  • Expertise in analyzing application logs to identify errors, exceptions, and performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Solutions Development, Digital Experience.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps teams.
