Job Title: Social Studies Curriculum Planner

We are seeking a skilled and passionate curriculum planner to develop engaging lesson plans and quality resources for grades 9 and 10. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the subject matter, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop high-quality lesson plans and learning resources that align with the curriculum standards.
  • Target achievable and productive learning objectives for each chapter.
  • Use effective teaching methodologies and strategies to ensure an interactive classroom environment.
  • Incorporate interdisciplinary questions and activities to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop a plan that ensures the holistic development of learners.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in History/Geography or a related field.
  • B.Ed. degree from a reputable University.
  • 3-5 years of experience in teaching/curriculum planning.
  • Teaching experience of at least 2-3 years as a secondary school teacher.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and working knowledge of Bloom's Taxonomy.
Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex chapters of literature, grammar, and writing skills.
  • Ability to create and source engaging content for students.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage workload effectively.
