Curriculum Planning Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate curriculum planner to create engaging lesson plans and quality resources that ensure a successful teaching-learning process in the classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in History/Geography and a B.Ed. degree from a reputed University, with 3-5 years of experience in teaching/curriculum planning, including at least 2-3 years as a secondary school teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality lesson plans and learning resources for grades 9 and 10.
  • Create achievable and productive learning objectives for each chapter.
  • Implement effective teaching methodologies and strategies, including interdisciplinary questions and activities.
  • Train teachers on best practices.

Requirements:

  • Excellent subject knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Bloom's Taxonomy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to understand and analyze chapters of literature, grammar, and writing skills.
  • Able to create and source engaging content for students.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and across teams.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bloom's Taxonomy.
