Job Overview:

As a seasoned automation tester, we seek a skilled professional to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, create and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
  • Execute automated tests, identify defects, and contribute to defect triage efforts.
  • Develop and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.
  • Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.
  • Contribute to the development of an automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.
  • Work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Adhere to automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
  • Support manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in functional and automation testing, preferably with Guidewire.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools like Playwright or JavaScript-based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium.
  • Hands on experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years.
  • Experience working with Git Repository.
  • Ability to independently handle test code issue resolution, updates, and debugging.
  • Exposure to QA lifecycle tools like JIRA or equivalent.
  • Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.
  • Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and API testing.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.
  • Experience improving test coverage and test strategy.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and CI/CD tools.
