**Mission Critical Data Engineering Role**

This role is part of our data engineering team, working on tasks ranging from designing, developing, and operating data warehouses to data platform functions. We enjoy working closely together, utilizing an agile development methodology.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and operate data warehouses and data platforms
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across various ETL platforms and databases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in data engineering
  • Develop and maintain software applications using Python and other programming languages

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or in related roles
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality data engineering solutions
  • Experience with data pipelines, methodologies, and tools such as Spark and SQL
  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and containerization
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud providers like AWS and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
  • Understanding of routing, switching, and basic network communication protocols
