About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic product development team.

In this critical role, you'll be instrumental in defining and delivering cutting-edge healthcare products that address critical market needs and provide exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define Product Vision: Articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for healthcare-focused solutions, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.
  2. Market Insights: Deeply understand market needs, customer pain points, and regulatory requirements within the healthcare domain. Conduct thorough research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to gather comprehensive insights.
  3. Product Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the highest value features and epics. Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
  4. Liaison Role: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., clinicians, operations, sales, legal, compliance) and the development team. Facilitate effective communication and manage expectations.
  5. Agilogy Expertise: Participate actively in all agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives). Provide guidance and clarification to the development team throughout the sprint cycle.
  6. User-Centric Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a user-centric design that meets the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FDA, ONC) and ensure product features are compliant.
  8. Launch Support: Support product launches, including contributing to training materials, marketing collateral, and internal communications. Monitor product performance post-launch and identify areas for optimization.
  9. Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks and impediments to product development and delivery.
Qualifications
  1. Experience: 4-6 years of experience as a Product Owner or a similar product management role, with a significant portion of this experience (at least 3-4 years) directly within the healthcare industry.
  2. Healthcare Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, regulatory landscapes (e.g., HIPAA, FHIR, interoperability standards), and common healthcare IT systems (EHR/EMR, Practice Management, LIS, RIS, etc.).
  3. Agile Certification: Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a plus.
  4. Storytelling Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, concise, and actionable user stories.
  5. Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  6. Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Motivation: Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  8. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related clinical field). Master's degree is a plus.
