Leadership Opportunity in Product Design

We are seeking a visionary academic leader to spearhead our product design program, driving innovation and excellence.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge product design programs that align with the institution's mission and vision.
  • Supervise and support faculty members in teaching practices, research projects, and professional development.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of program curriculum to ensure industry standards and relevance.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with other departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities for students.
  • Oversight of student recruitment efforts and close collaboration with career advancement teams.
  • Effective management of department resources for discussion and approvals.
  • Host industry experts for teaching, master classes, conferences/symposiums, and design festivals.
  • Stay updated on UGC, NAAC, and other processes, ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in industrial design.
  • A minimum of 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in an academic leadership role within a design school setting.
  • Strong understanding of current trends and developments in industrial design.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with faculty, staff, students, industry professionals, and stakeholders.
