Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned fabrication leader to drive end-to-end production activities, develop strategic plans, and ensure quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication, with a strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
  • Lead teams to ensure timely project completion, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.
  • Monitor productivity, utilization, rejection rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage resources, including manpower, machine loading, and material availability, to optimize production.
  • Identify skill gaps and mentor the team to improve performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and ensure audit readiness.
  • Manage subcontracting activities and vendor performance as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fabrication, preferably in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
