Senior Animation and Rigging Mentor

We are seeking an experienced professional to mentor and direct our artists, particularly in the field of Animation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide training on Autodesk Maya and Blender software for Film and Advertising needs, from basic to advanced in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Focus on teaching animation and rigging in various styles (realistic, cartoonish, stylized, etc.).
  • Teach animators and riggers how to create proper animations and rigs to support our VFX Studio.
  • Offer solutions for integration between Autodesk Maya and Blender or vice versa.
  • Provide effective and efficient teaching to enhance individual skills.
  • Share experience as an animator and rigger in global cinema.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mastery of animation and rigging using Blender and Maya software.
  • Understanding of animation principles and ability to apply them flexibly, especially in realistic or semi-realistic character animation.
  • Knowledge of animation workflows and pipelines.
  • Problem-solving skills: ability to address animation issues independently of tools.
  • Adaptability: ability to adjust animation style to suit the project (realistic, cartoonish, stylized, etc.).
  • Understanding of anatomy and deformation of living creatures.
  • Ability to create rigs that facilitate animators (controllers and sliders).
  • Ability to adapt rigs to animation styles (cartoonish, realistic, etc.).
  • Ability to mentor junior animators and riggers, then review results.
