Job Overview

A motion graphics designer is responsible for creating engaging animations and visual effects for various media platforms.

This role requires collaboration with creative teams to incorporate design elements into projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create complex animations for diverse media platforms.
  • Work with illustrators, designers, and instructional designers to understand project scope and objectives.
  • Assist in creating animation storyboards and conceptual layouts.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
  • Provide accurate time estimates for each process step.
  • Select appropriate audio, graphic, and animation styles for projects.
  • Encode, convert, and edit videos, adding effects and elements to enhance motion graphics.
  • Support design and illustration teams with photo editing, bespoke illustration, and icon design.
  • Train and develop others in using animation software, staying up-to-date with advancements in animation and new technologies.
