Job Title: Senior Banking IT Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in providing expert-level support for the Finacle CBS platform.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting multiple modules within Finacle 10.x, including Branch Operations, CASA, TD, Loans, Trade Finance, Lockers, and Alternate Delivery Channels (SWIFT, Clearing, Utility Payments, Financial Inclusion)
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of fatal errors, application logs, and application services
  • Logging vendor/internal calls, following up, and escalating where necessary
  • Providing regular status updates and executing maintenance activities per checklist
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing, coordinating fixes/releases to T&D and production (Change Management process)
  • Planning and executing backup, recovery, and Disaster Recovery tasks
  • Documenting and publishing meeting minutes following discussions with vendors/banks

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management, capable of vendor/bank coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams and shifts, handle escalations, and maintain a high execution focus

Mandatory certifications include ITIL 4 Professional, PRINCE2 Practitioner, and PMP Certification.

Required qualifications include:

  • Education: Science/Commerce graduate required; BE/B.Tech, MCA, or MBA preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in banking IT domain/application support, including 5+ years specifically in Finacle CBS (10.x/UBS 10.2.x) environment
