Legal Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Manager to oversee our legal and regulatory affairs.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in fintech, banking, M&A, or general corporate law. A strong understanding of Indian regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance is essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on commercial agreements including third-party contracts, service agreements, partnerships, and license agreements.
  • Support general corporate legal matters with expertise in the Indian Companies Act, 2013, and related regulations.
  • Develop and maintain standard form agreements and legal databases for efficient contract negotiation and management.
  • Lead communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage proactively with regulatory bodies, providing policy advocacy support, and ensuring compliance with RBI, SEBI, FEMA, and other relevant frameworks.

Requirements:

  • A Law Graduate from a recognized university with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, M&A, and/or general corporate legal matters is essential.
  • Candidates with prior exposure to debt transactions and the fintech/banking sector will be given preference.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance.
  • A proactive legal professional who can collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with regulatory bodies confidently.
