Overview
Accor, a global leader in hospitality, is seeking an experienced Sanitation Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all our properties.

About You
We are looking for someone with comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices, occupational health and safety standards certifications, as well as expertise in managing associations and convention organizers. Your extensive experience in sanitation management will enable you to maintain immaculate grooming standards and ensure that all food & beverage employees have adequate knowledge of food safety.

About the Role
This key position involves proposing and maintaining minimum standards in all work areas, stores, receiving and disposal areas to adhere to required hygiene standards. You will be responsible for effective and efficient maintenance of records related to the resort's sanitation and hygiene efforts/program, as well as organizing monthly food safety meetings and training sessions.

The Ideal Candidate
You will have familiarity with current culinary trends and methods, possess a deep understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System)/ Quality Management System ISO 9001 standards. Additionally, your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively liaison with external agencies on sanitary matters and contribute to sourcing new suppliers while ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain impeccable hygiene standards in all food and beverage areas.
  • Conduct daily routine checks in conjunction with the Stewarding manager.
  • Ensure accurate recording of data by kitchen staff and proper filing for future reference.
  • Liaise with external agencies on sanitary matters and encourage positive working relationships.
  • Develop and implement pest control programs with the Stewarding department.

Salary Range
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum
