Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. This role will involve working on the design and implementation of backend services using distributed systems architecture.

This position requires strong understanding of asynchronous communication, event-driven architecture, and choreography patterns. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with Python development, GCP SDKs, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as PubSub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.

  • Distributed Systems Architecture: Event-driven architecture is key to building scalable and fault-tolerant systems. You should be familiar with designing and implementing microservices-based architectures that can handle high traffic and provide real-time data processing.
  • Cloud Development: Proficiency in Python development using GCP SDKs is required. Experience with cloud-based services such as PubSub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run is essential for this role.
  • Event Sourcing and CQRS: A solid understanding of event sourcing and CQRS patterns is necessary for designing robust and scalable systems.

In this role, you will also be responsible for schema design, serialization formats, and expertise in working with Avro and ProtobufJSON for defining, evolving, and validating event schemas.
