Solar Energy Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Energy Technician to join our team. As a key member of the construction team, you will provide technical support to sales, design, and customer service teams while reporting to the Construction Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level technical support to installation companies/customers/manufacturers (troubleshooting, problem resolution, RMA's).
  • Handle and log all technical calls/emails.
  • Perform installation quality checks & collect installer feedback.
  • Maintain CRM records and prioritize customer service/maintenance requests.
  • Escalate critical issues to the Construction Manager.
  • Track post-installation smart meter applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the solar industry or education in renewable energy preferred.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Engineering/Technical Support/Service Engineer background.
  • Knowledge of solar, battery systems, and electrical diagrams.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools & MS Office.
  • Problem-solving mindset, self-motivated, flexible with hours.
