Project Manager - Infrastructure Development

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Project Manager - Infrastructure Development to oversee the design, construction, maintenance, and expansion of infrastructure across various educational campuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering projects for new buildings, campus expansions, renovations, and site development.
  • Manage campus infrastructure, including water supply, sewerage systems, drainage, and stormwater management to ensure sustainability and compliance.
  • Supervise site layouts, grading plans, utility designs (water, power, data cabling pathways), roadworks, and landscaping projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, prepare detailed project reports (DPRs), cost estimates, and project schedules for all civil works.
  • Work with architects, consultants, and external contractors to ensure smooth and timely execution of construction and maintenance projects.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure strict adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain all engineering documentation, including blueprints, 'as-built' drawings, project completion reports, and technical specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of comprehensive experience in construction project management, site development, and infrastructure maintenance, ideally for large institutional, commercial, or hospital complexes.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, public health engineering (water supply, sanitation), and infrastructure management principles.
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD is essential. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with local municipal authorities for project approvals and permits is highly preferable.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, along with a strong capacity for project leadership.
