Job Title: Cloud Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Automation Specialist to create, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation solutions across cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration:
    • Develop reusable IaC templates using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation for efficient provisioning and configuration.
    • Automate deployment and configuration across public clouds, private clouds, and hybrid environments.
    • Implement VMware automation with Aria stack and enable policy-as-code.
    • Manage OpenShift clusters to support containerized applications.
  • CI/CD Pipelines:
    • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions for streamlined deployments.
    • Integrate automated testing and quality checks for enhanced reliability.
    • Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Cloud Platform Management:
    • Deploy and optimize infrastructure on VMware, OCI, and Google Cloud for improved scalability and efficiency.
    • Enable multi-cloud strategies with Kubernetes/Docker for seamless application deployment.
    • Automate solutions on Nutanix platforms and hyperscaler environments for increased agility.
  • Monitoring & Optimization:
    • Implement monitoring and auto-scaling mechanisms for enhanced system availability.
    • Troubleshoot and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Work closely with DevOps, Operations, and Security teams for cohesive collaboration.
    • Maintain detailed documentation and provide team mentorship for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation for efficient automation.
  • CI/CD pipeline expertise (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) for streamlined deployments.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting for customized solutions.
  • Expertise in VMware automation and Aria stack for optimized performance.
  • Experience with Nutanix (AHV, Prism, Calm) for agile infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitOps workflows for version control and collaboration.

  • Terraform Associate (HashiCorp)
  • OCI Certified Architect
  • Kubernetes (CKA / CKAD / OpenShift EX280)
  • VMware Certifications
  • Nutanix (NCA / NCP-MCI)
