Anaplan Model Builder Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Model Developer to design, build, and maintain Anaplan models for business planning and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in model design, data integration, and user interface development. They will work closely with internal teams and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into functional models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Design: Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models for various functions, such as revenue, costs, and consolidations.

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with internal teams and/or clients to understand business requirements and translate them into Anaplan models.

  • Model Construction: Build and develop Anaplan modules, lists, and dashboards based on model blueprints.

  • Data Integration: Ensure data accuracy and model integrity by monitoring data flows between Anaplan and source systems.

  • User Interface (UI): Design intuitive dashboards and interfaces to provide actionable insights.

  • Maintenance and Optimization: Maintain existing Anaplan models, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and efficient. Continuously improve and optimize models to enhance performance.

  • Model Documentation: Document model designs, business rules, and key processes.

  • Data Management: Partner with data management teams to test and configure data feeds.

  • User Support: Provide support and training to end-users on Anaplan functionalities.
