About Us:

Ranba Castings Limited, a renowned leader in the foundry industry, seeks an experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Human Resources. This dynamic individual will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment while driving business objectives.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to senior management, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. A deep understanding of HR best practices in the foundry industry is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled laborers for foundry operations, utilizing innovative approaches to overcome sourcing challenges.
  • Employee Welfare Initiatives: Identify and address employee concerns, improving working conditions, safety measures, and overall well-being.
  • Manpower Shortage Management: Swiftly address manpower shortages by developing contingency plans and implementing alternative staffing solutions as needed.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate fair contracts with contractors to supply skilled labor for various roles within the foundry, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and values.
  • Team Leadership: Effectively delegate tasks and supervise the HR team to ensure efficient execution of responsibilities.
  • Liaisoning and Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between the company and local authorities, coordinating with government agencies to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Statutory Compliances, Taxation, and Policies: Oversee statutory compliances, taxation, and policy matters related to company operations, ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations.
  • Employee Skill Development: Map employee skill gaps and arrange training programs to enhance employee skills.

Estimated Salary: ₹12,50,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee relations in the manufacturing or foundry industry.
  • Strong exposure and experience in talent acquisition of contract labours.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to address manpower shortage issues and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Experience in liaising with local authorities and coordinating with government agencies.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for MIS, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
