Lead Interior Designer: Workplace Interiors

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Lead Interior Designer to join our team. As a Lead Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functionally beautiful spaces that reflect clients' vision and objectives.

Your focus will be on designing workplace interiors for corporate clients, collaborating with a diverse group of designers, architects, strategists, brand designers, and other professionals throughout all phases of the project.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their previous work and design style, as well as excellent conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive design concepts that meet client's needs and expectations
  • Apply outstanding conceptual thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas to clients
  • Create detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and specifications, using SketchUp and AUTOCAD(2D)
  • Select furniture, finishes, lighting, and accessories, and produce material boards to ensure that the design is cohesive and aesthetically pleasing
  • FOLLOW DESIGN GUIDELINES, BUILDING CODES, AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS TO ENSURE THAT DESIGNS ARE SAFE AND COMPLY WITH INDUSTRY STANDARDS
  • Work with the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, maintaining productivity and quality targets
  • Attend meetings with clients and contractors to discuss design changes and to provide guidance and advice

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in SketchUp, AUTOCAD(2D), Photoshop and Enscape
  • Excellent conceptual thinking and graphic presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction effectively and quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and technical abilities
  • Flexibility to manage concurrent projects in various stages of development
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 1-3 years of experience required in Interiors in Commercial (Office Interiors)
  • Proven experience in workplace interior design
  • Creative and innovative thinking, with an ability to deliver unique and inspiring designs
  • A portfolio showcasing your previous work and design style
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
