Business Operations Manager

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing plant accounting, budgeting, and financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, debtors, creditors, and fixed assets. They will also prepare annual budgets and handle statutory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for plant accounting, budgetary control, MIS, sales accounting, and commercial functions
  • Handle employee-related accounts, statutory compliance, and insurance matters
  • Prepare annual budgets and outlook financials
  • Manage the reconciliation and ageing of stock, debtors, and creditors
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate depreciation
  • Deal with excise, TDS matters, and the consolidation of final accounts
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ABC analysis and evaluate non/slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory
  • Monitor physical stock verification (1st of every month)
  • Value monthly inventory (FG/SFG/WIP) for balance sheet
  • Prepare inventory obsolescence reports and working capital requirement
  • Implement inventory control measures and optimize reorder levels
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HANA and MM modules
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
