Job Overview

The role of a Senior Compliance Specialist involves overseeing legal compliance across various divisions, ensuring adherence to regulations and maintaining a culture of integrity. This position requires strong knowledge of law, business operations, and the ability to identify key risk areas.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Developing and implementing a Compliance Management system to monitor compliance status and track legal amendments.
    • Conducting periodic reviews and presenting compliance reports to senior management.
    • Ensuring user issues are addressed timely and providing need-based advisory support and training.
    • Working on initiatives to improve compliance culture and identifying opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of law and interpretation skills.
  • Familiarity with Legal systems and key regulators.
  • Strong understanding of Business Operations and local environment.
  • Good Oral and Written Communication Skills.
  • Ability to identify key risk areas vis-à-vis compliance and effect thereof.
