Quality Assurance Tester

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for functional and regression testing across multiple platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive seamless collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications to guarantee optimal performance and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the tracking system, and ensure they are resolved to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify existing functionality remains stable and efficient.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, fostering open communication and mutual understanding.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis, to facilitate swift resolution and improvement.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies to align testing with delivery timelines, ensuring cohesive project management and timely execution.

Performance Metrics (KPIs):

  • Defect Detection Rate: 95% or higher of critical issues identified before release, demonstrating exceptional quality assurance.
  • Defect Leakage: 5% or lower of high-severity issues reported post-release, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
  • Test Coverage: 90% or higher of functional requirements validated per sprint, ensuring thorough testing and validation.
  • Bug Closure Rate: 90% or higher of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint, highlighting efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools to streamline issue management.
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases to facilitate efficient testing and validation.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
