Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Software Developer to join our web platform team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using modern technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • No less than 10 years of experience as a software engineer developing RESTful applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing web applications using React or Svelte.
  • Experience in developing Electron web applications.
  • Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, and HTML.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate ideas and improvements to support customers and business.

Bonus Points

Candidates with the following skills will be given preference:

  • In-depth knowledge of Svelte and SvelteKit or React.
  • Familiarity with adjacent technologies like Backbone, Handlebars, SASS, Angular, or React.
  • Knowledge of the latest development trends from mobile web, including modular design, accessibility, and site performance.
  • Working knowledge of cross-platform/browser compatibility issues.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Understanding of caching fundamentals.
  • Made contributions to open-source projects.
