Job Title: Vendor Security Risk Management Senior Associate

Job Summary:

The position of a Senior Associate in Vendor Security Risk Management is responsible for supporting the management and mitigation of security risks associated with third-party vendors.

This role involves conducting risk assessments, assisting in the development of risk management strategies, and ensuring vendors comply with security policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Risk Assessment: Assist in performing security risk assessments for new and existing vendors to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities. Document and communicate assessment findings to colleagues for review.
  • Risk Mitigation: Support the development and implementation of strategies to mitigate identified security risks. Monitor corrective actions to ensure risks are effectively managed.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Assist in continuous monitoring activities to regularly assess vendors' security performance. Use automated tools and technologies to track and report on vendors' compliance with security standards.
  • Incident Management: At the request of the Incident Management team, support the incident management process by coordinating with vendors to understand whether a vendor was impacted by an incident and ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Compliance: Maintain up-to-date documentation and evidence of vendors' compliance with security requirements. Assist with regular compliance audits and assessments to verify adherence to security policies.
  • Training and Awareness: Help conduct and deliver training sessions and awareness programs for internal teams on security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in Vendor Risk Mgt.
  • Skill Requirements:

    • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.

      • Proactive and Independent Work: Proactive and able to work independently is essential.
  • Education: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
