About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, supporting global locations. This position involves managing critical Thomson Reuters Editorial Applications hosted on AWS cloud, working closely with application development, networks, security, management systems, storage, and database teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage environments in cloud, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Handle Thomson Reuters application installations and troubleshoot application issues on Windows-based systems.
  • Apply application patches, fixes, and product-specific updates on Assembly and Production systems.
  • Perform end-to-end application and product testing, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Maintain strong links with 1st Level groups and Development teams, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Coordinate with integrators to meet operational requirements and ensure business continuity.
  • Manage change requests to support product enhancement and growth, minimizing service disruption.
  • Provision and maintain documentation on system configurations, databases, and daily operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with operational, product, and development groups to support projects for business continuity or service enhancements.
  • Follow defined project, implementation, and support processes, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • Perform incident and problem management, logging and tracking issues until satisfactory resolution.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and perform related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6+ years' experience in cloud with Windows-based Operating Systems.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with various software applications, Windows Administration, and Troubleshooting.
  • DevOps in AWS: Experience in AWS DevOps specific services (CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, ECS, EKS, setting up CI/CD pipeline on AWS).
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to perform root cause analysis and create solutions to resolve incidents.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, with strong sense of urgency and desire to deliver solutions against strict timelines.
