Job Title: Automation Tester

Overview

The Automation Tester will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting and maintaining optimized automated test scripts. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other technical resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and maintain test strategies and plans that align with business objectives.
  • Automated Testing: Design, develop, document and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality automated testing by identifying and prioritizing defects and issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of automation initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Software Development: 5-6 years experience predominantly in software test/ Quality Engineering.
  • Programming Languages: Proficient in programming languages like JavaScript/Typescript/Java.
  • Automation Scripting: 3+ years of automation scripting experience (not record and playback).
  • BDD Concepts: Good understanding of BDD, CI-CD and DevOps concepts is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in following is required: Playwright Automation Tool, Web Browser Testing, Mobile Device Validation, Validation of RESTful web services, Jenkins (CI/CD Pipelines).
