About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior User Experience (UX) Design Strategist to join our team at InterSources. As a UX Design Strategist, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design of intuitive and engaging user interfaces that meet the needs of our users. Job Summary

In this senior-level position, you will lead the development of UX design solutions for various projects. You will conduct user research, analyze data, and create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to inform design decisions. Additionally, you will oversee the creation of prototypes, conduct usability testing, and iterate on designs based on feedback. As a UX Design Strategist, you will also contribute to the maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms. Your expertise in accessibility standards will ensure that all designs meet the necessary criteria to accommodate users with disabilities. Furthermore, you will analyze user feedback and activity to enhance the overall user experience. You will work closely with junior designers and other team members to provide guidance and mentorship, helping them grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  1. User Research: Conduct thorough user research to gather insights into user needs and behaviors, synthesizing findings into actionable deliverables like personas, journey maps, and user stories.
  2. Design Execution: Develop and implement UX design solutions, including wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for various devices and interfaces.
  3. Prototyping and Testing: Create high-fidelity prototypes to test and refine user interfaces, conducting usability testing and incorporating user feedback to iterate on designs.
  4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with UX researchers, product managers, and developers to implement designs that accurately reflect the intended user experience.
  5. Design Systems: Contribute to the maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
  6. Accessibility: Ensure that all designs meet accessibility standards to accommodate users with disabilities.
  7. Metrics and Feedback: Analyze user feedback and activity to enhance the overall user experience.
  8. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and other team members.

Requirements

To be successful as a UX Design Strategist at InterSources, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in UX design, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
  3. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, and InVision.
  4. Strong understanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  6. Experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript is a plus.
  7. A portfolio that demonstrates your creative thinking and delivery of effective and pleasing user experiences.
